Located outside of Lushoto Town,  Maweni Farm is a center for learning about organic farming and ecotourism.  It is managed by Juma Kahema, who worked for years as an officer of the German-funded SECAP (Soil Erosion Conservation and Protection) Project.  He co-wrote Ten Million Trees Later about the project and is also an expert in organic farming and environmental management.  His expertise provides important guidance for EEDI-Lushoto.
