Lauren joined the EcoVentures team in July 2009. As an undergraduate she studied political and economic development with a focus on women's leadership. She has previously worked for Women for Women International here in Washington D.C. and Opening Doors, Inc., a Sacramento-based refugee resettlement non-profit which works to develop social and economic skills, wellness, and financial assets. At Opening Doors Lauren provided small business development support to the Abriendo Puertas program, which provides technical assistance, marketing, and financial management services. Lauren has worked and studied throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
At EVI, Lauren manages operations and outreach initiatives, including grant monitoring and fundraising, donor cultivation, marketing activities, and logistical assistance.
Lauren holds a BA from the University of California, Davis.
