In 1988 Seventh Generation took over a catalog of
environmentally safe products and expanded to include items such as light bulbs
and unbleached recycled paper toilet paper. By 1995 the company had also
expanded its operations to sell its products in retail stores and made a
decision to focus on the retail and gave the catalog operations to a group
called Harmony. The company distributes its products to natural and grocery
stores across the United
States. Their products include non-chlorine
bleached, 100% recycled paper towels, bathroom and facial

tissues, napkins and
paper plates and non-toxic, phosphate free, biodegradable cleaning, dish and
laundry products; along with other products.
All the company's products follow the belief that we must
think about the affect we are having on the next seven generations. That is why
in addition to their products the company educates consumers through their
packaging and newsletter along with presentations by their President, Jeffrey
Hollender. For more information on Seventh Generation and their line of
non-toxic products please visit their
