EVI's GreenBusiness GreenJobs program works through a
variety of activities in order to achieve the specific goals of clients as well
as the broader goal of helping communities across the US develop green business and green job growth strategies in order to green our economy. Programs EVI typically partners with business development organizations to build their capacity in green business and market development while providing additional services to their clients as well as their staff. These include the Growing Green Enterprise Workshops in Minnesota, Oregon, and Washington State, and Building Sustainable Rural Communities Through Green Business in Maryland, Delaware, and New York States, among others. Webinars and Training Programs EVI offers a range of training sessions for small and microenterprise development organizations and practitioners on methods to develop green business training and support services for business and entrepreneur clients. All of these training of trainer sessions can be delivered in person or through webinars. EVI is able to adapt each training session to be delivered over a 1 hour to 3 hour period, depending on the need and time availability of our clients. EVI also provides follow-up, one-one-one technical assistance to meet specific participant needs and program development needs. Topics include:
Speaking Engagements We are regular speakers at green business and microenterprise conferences around the country, including the Association for Enterprise Opportunity's (AEO) Annual Conference, the SEEP Network annual conference, and more. Recently you may have seen us at the 2009 Virginia Microenterprise Conference, the 2008 and 2009 AEO Conferences, SEEP Network's FIELD Day 2008, the TRIDENT Initiative's Green Small Business Conference 2009, or the North American Sustainable Consumption Alliance's DC conference.
