sitefred_squareA French-American who grew up mostly in Paris, Fred returned to the US to receive a degree in economics from Boston University.   Following this education he became a language teacher in Spain and later in Mexico. In the meantime Fred developed a strong interest in environmental issues, leading him to pursue a Master's degree in ecological economics at the University of Edinburgh, which he received in 2005. He then participated in a short development mission in Cameroon with a French NGO and has been working with EcoVentures International since August of 2006. Fred started as an intern with EVI and is now responsible for the training and curriculum department.

Fred facilitated meetings and advised 10th graders from a DC High School during their Community Action Project using the Sustainable Business Ventures curriculum which he is developing. He is actively seeking ways to disseminate EVI's work and training material in Mexico and is helping translate EVI curricula in Spanish and French.  Fred has recently shifted to Ecuador, where he has introduced EVI's BestGame curricula to the PeaceCorps office in Quito.  The Spanish version (GANE) is now actively being used by PeaceCorps volunteers in the country to support small business development and entrepreneurship.
