Nancy Fisher has over twenty-five years experience in marketing and public relations, as well as corporate, foundation and individual fundraising. Throughout her career she has demonstrated a facility for creating unique and strategic solutions to organizational challenges. As Regional Director for Youth Service in the Department of Health and Human Services' Youth Development Office, Nancy managed the $6 million program selecting and issuing grant awards for 26 organizations working with runaway and troubled youth and their families in the Great Lakes Region. She later served as Director of Development and Communications for the League of Women Voters Overseas Education Fund. While there, she expanded the organization's funding base through initiating and managing Women in Business Committee, a successful national fundraising advisory committee, comprised of women business leaders, who gave and raised new unrestricted money to support the Overseas Education Fund's microenterprise development training programs for low income women in developing countries.

In 1991, Nancy accepted the position of Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations for the Smithsonian Institution, and established and directed the Smithsonian Corporate Membership Program (SCMP), which became a new source of unrestricted revenue for Smithsonian, averaging revenues of $500,000 annually.

After eight years with the Smithsonian, Nancy founded the Fischer Group, Inc, to provide marketing, fundraising and management consulting services to nonprofits. The company's clients have included the National Council on Science and the Environment, The Population Resources Center, Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery, and Africare. Presently, Nancy serves as Director of Corporate Relations for the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids.

Nancy earned a Masters in Higher Education at Columbia University and a Bachelor's in Political Science at University of Wisconsin-Madison. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of House of Ruth.
