Vice Chair
 Dr. El Sawi has over 30 years of professional experience in the areas of: workforce and youth development; program planning and evaluation; training; non-formal and formal education; vocational and higher education; extension education; and cross-cultural understanding and education. She has designed and implemented large workforce and youth development projects; strategies for global workforce and youth development at the US Agency for International Development (USAID); and advised Ministers and Ministries on national youth policy development and implmentation in Africa and the MENA regions. Dr. El Sawi has provided leadership and coordination for the analysis of USAID country strategies. She has developed curriculum for experiential education and training for international youth organizations, and has provided customized training focused on international development, cross-cultural understanding, world affairs, cultural exchanges, citizenship, and leadership for such organizations as the FAO, 4-H, USAID, and the US Cooperative Extension Service.
Dr. El Sawi is currently the Workforce Development and Gender Integration Solution Leader for the USAID Private Sector Development program, SABEQ, implemented by BearingPoint, Inc. in Jordan.
