EcoVentures International (EVI) is a small, 501(c)3 non profit organization based in Washington DC. EVI facilitates environmentally-orientated, predominantly youth-run, small and micro business development across the world.
EVI recognizes that small and micro businesses are either currently, or potentially could be, the key provider of environmentally sustainable products and services in many communities. Providing the training and resources to build the capacity of young entrepreneurs to set up, run and maintain such environmentally orientated businesses is fundamental in ensuring the economic, environmental and social sustainability of communities. EVI uses innovative, participative, experiential, process-orientated methodologies to support environmental enterprise development in local communities.
